Scarlett Rockway treated my hair with amazing expertise 8 weeks ago and then did another miracle just recently! It makes all the difference to me to have hair so expertly done!!! The top of my head was white and the sides were grey and brown and white. Now it is believably blonde in a highlighted way and so natural looking yet glamorous at the same time. When it grows out at the 8 week point, it still looks great! I dont know how she does it. I totally recommend Scarlett. Services: Shampoo & conditioning, Hairstyling

I went to Scarlett Rockway to get some nice color in my hair in preparation for a big family wedding. My hair was half grey, and very white on top where I part my hair. I told Scarlett I was worried about brass, orange effects, bleaching, etc., and emphasized that I didn't even want anything like strawberry. Wow!!! She used different hair colors-a little lowlighting with a little highlighting throughout my upper hair and the result makes me feel so great I can't even tell you. I haven't had that "spun gold" look since high school. I am most definitely repeating the color every 8 weeks with Scarlett. She is an expert and making people look their best is what she does. Services: Shampoo & conditioning, Bridal services, Hairstyling

I love my haircut! I was unsure what I wanted to do with it but Scarlett took the bad reference photo I had and my barebones explanation and made my hair look amazing. My hair was a grow out from a Mohawk with some janky bleached ends and now it looks fresh and professional. Thank you Scarlett!!!

she sent me a text on my personal number saying I was a "very mean human", "how dare I leave her a review", that I have "issues" and that I am a "truly sad human". She then threw in a childish "your hair is not curly!" for good measure. How professional. If you want a stylist who doesn't listen to you and then goes into personal attack mode when questioned, she's the stylist for you. If not, there are better salon's on the Island. Not a DevaCurl cut specialist as her website says, it states that she is Devacut Certified and there are reviews that talk about how she is great with curly hair, but that was not my experience. I have 2b / 2c wavey curls that are bouncy yet fragile. The first thing she did was comb them out with a paddle brush. She told me that she trimmed the initial perimeter wet & then finished the cut dry - different than what I had experienced before with a Devacut but I went with it. Until after taking maybe 3 to 5 minutes to cut off some length around the perimeter, she then proceeds to take a hair dryer with no diffuser attachment, turn it on high blast - high heat, and blow dries my hair stick straight with a round brush. NEVER in 8 years of Devacut certified stylists has one ever done this. Ever. I was visibly upset and asked her to explain how she was going to cut my hair dried straight with the curl pattern combed out, because I didn't understand. She told me she was "finished" cutting my hair, that she just needed to refine the layers and she didn't need it to be wet to do that. I questioned that, since she had not spent any time cutting in layers at all, and asked how she was going to be able to refine the layers without seeing my curl pattern since it was blown straight - which is how a Devacut is done, typically its cut while dry, but not blown dried to be completely straight as she did. It was blow out straight. She again said that hair didn't need to be wet to cut layers. Which is correct, and not what I was questioning. As curly girls know, a Devacut specializes in cutting to the pattern of the individual curl to enhance its natural curl pattern. You can't see a curl pattern when its a blow out. As someone who advertizes as being Devacut certified, and me telling her I had S waves and soft ringlets and needed a curly girl cut because the length was weighing them down, my expectation was that as a Deva stylist she would get that. I told her that I thought there was a disconnect because again I didn't understand how she was going to do a Devacut on straight dried hair, and I was clearly anxious. She again said she didn't need it to be wet to cut it, but she could wet it, but that it wouldn't matter because she had finished the cut and again said layers didn't need to be done wet. It was not about my hair being cut wet, it was about her drying my wavy curls stick straight and telling me that she didn't need to see the curl pattern to do a Devacurl cut. By this point I knew she was not a Devacut stylist and was up and ready to leave. I was going to pay for the whole 5 minutes of the perimeter cut, but she told me I was the rudest customer she ever had and to leave. That was fine by me, she clearly is NOT a Deva stylist and shouldn't advertise that she is.
