Stu The Barber At Collage

I have been going to Stu for 2 years. I am a black guy that moved here from Texas, and finding a good barber in downtown Seattle was hard. My experience with Stu has been great. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a barber.

The only way to make an appointment is by calling/ messaging him but he doesnt always respond. Seems flakey

Its hard to find someone to cut my hair (black hair) in SLU/Downtown. I usually have to choose white/queer friendly places that are great vibes but not good at cutting my hair or choose black barbers with not the best atmosphere / sometimes honestly homophobic vibes. Stu is great all around! He has a fun attitude/atmosphere/conversation and always delivers an amazing haircut. Def recommend!!!

I called this business on 12/27/22. The owner or receptionist answered the phone, hung up, and didnt bother to return my call. I called again. No one answered. I left a voice message and a text message. The text message was read, but no one responded to the message. Almost a month later, I have not been contacted by anyone at this location. Yes. I am a Black woman. Is this an issue of professionalism? Bias? Sexism? Im not sure. Im not interested in spending my money where a business assumes Im not worth a returned call.
