Umpqua Bank - CLOSED

It's a beautiful space, and the concept of the branch is great. The people that work there couldn't be any nicer, but it has gone the way of the "big three". Even the people that work there have to be on hold on the phone to the Overloads in the Cloud to solve problems. I am referred to their 800 numbers for a normal question, and the phones cut off at closing even when I am hold for more than an hour. Currently I am hold after being passed around by 3 different people and it's been more than an hour. I had to block out an afternoon to get what should be an easy answer for a business account. I am moving my accounts to the little local guy nearby. One where they can answer common questions right at the branch level, in other words, to a bank where they impower their employees at the customer level. I am hoping that a 3 hour time frame to get answers on how to connect to a common book keeping software (for an addtional fee) is enough time, but I am doubtful this will be accomplished. It's time to stuff my mattress instead of using Columbia Bank.

I needed to make a quick deposit and stumbled into this Columbia Bank branch. I like the design concept and can see its value as a community meeting spot pre-/post-COVID. What stood out more was Kelly's (didn't catch her official position title) customer service - she was very friendly and helpful, which made a routine errand more enjoyable. Good work Kelly!

Interesting branch. Coworking space meets bank. Free Peets coffee, WiFi, newspapers, and reservations for their (rather nice) conference room. Dont even have to be an account holder to use the space. I worked here for a few hours instead of the library and it was great!
