R and K Automotive got me back on the road quickly and efficiently. Before driving from Dallas to Seattle, I had work done on my 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan to make sure it was ready for the trip. Unfortunately, the shop I went to, a new one to me, did more harm than good. The van made it to Seattle but that was the end of it. After looking for reputable repair shops, a lesson I should have learned sooner, I cam across R & K who were conveniently nearby and highly rated. They quickly ascertained that the other shop had essentially messed up every one of their purported repairs, and in less than a day had fixed the other shops mistakes on the catalytic converters, oxygen sensors, and spark plugs, putting my van back in great shape. In addition to the speed and accuracy of the repairs, the price was fair for the work. When you find a reliable mechanic, you stick with them. Wish I hadn't needed to find one in Seattle so soon, but for any future car work I will return to R & K Automotive.
Update from nearly a year later: had another issue with my 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan, this time with the transmission. As I said before: once you find a good mechanic you stick with them. I called up R & K Automotive and they did the repairs quickly and for a fair price. Something did go wrong, however, but they came to where the van was the next day to correct the problem and get me back on the road. R & K Automotive have cemented their place as my go-to mechanics here in Seattle. Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Transmission repair, Oil change
