    I recently moved out of this apartment complex and had a fantastic experience throughout my stay. It's truly a gem of a place to live, offering a modern design that's both clean and visually appealing. One of the highlights is its proximity to the University village, making shopping a breeze. Additionally, the convenience of a bus stop just a minute away made commuting to the University of Washington Campus effortless, especially on sunny days when walking was a pleasure. The flexibility of the lease, allowing for just 7 months in my case, was a rarity and greatly appreciated. Whenever I needed support, the response was quick and efficient. The amenities here are top-notch, with a great library, club room, and terrace on the 7th floor, while the 8th-floor rooftop garden is simply spectacular. What's more, it's incredibly dog-friendly, with a dedicated playing area for dogs on the rooftop and always stocked dog snacks in the lobby. Overall, my time here was nothing short of excellent, and I highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone seeking a comfortable, convenient, and pet-friendly living space.

    The building appeared nice when I toured and I appreciate the amenities/location but employees here are a bit deceptive. They specifically mentioned having AC/heat in the unit as a major plus. Additionally, the leasing staff told me that even though the parking garage was full, I should have a spot around the time I was scheduled to move in. Fast forward to when I move into the unit, I discovered that the mini split unit is completely dead so that means no heat or cooling in the unit. I requested maintenance to come to a look and they came by several times, each request taking at least 2-3 days. Finally, on the last visit, they told me that they would have to replace the whole unit which could take up to 6 weeks. I'm already about a month into the lease and all they've provided me is a super tiny space heater which is laughable as the ceilings on the top floor are super high. Communication by the leasing staff/management team has been absolute garbage. The manager initially promised to keep me updated but has not returned a single one of my calls or given me a single update as to when it will be fixed. It's pretty clear they did no inspection of the unit whatsoever before I moved in. As for parking, be prepared to pay a fortune, a "medium" sized spot is $325/month but it looks the same size as the other ones marked as compact. It took me almost 3 weeks after moving in to get a spot. I don't have a large car but I'm unable to open the door on one side since the spots are so narrow (probably just 6 inches away from the other car on one side and a huge concrete pole on the other). As others mentioned, there's construction going on just north of this building which I don't find to be a super big concern compared to the other issues above. I was hoping to have a better experience moving into Arista but what's been going on is pretty unacceptable especially for the price they're charging for all the units.
