Kyla was really helpful during my move-in. She is a very kind and nice employee, a respectful person who cares about the tenants.
Jennifer is also kind and helpful during my move-out. She helped me a lot and found a solution to a problem! My move-out is smooth.
The maintenance guys respond very quickly and are helpful to me.
For me, it's a good place to stay, it's not perfect but it's good enough. However, some things could be improved, like the ventilation in the hallways, the lack of parking spots for friends and family to visit, and the small washer and dryer, which annoy me the most. Sometimes it's a bit noisy because of the streets or dogs, but I'm not that bothered, I would just close the window, lol. All good tho, I can't complain nothing is perfect, its good enought for me.

It screamed at around 12 o'clock last night and was woken up again at 6 o'clock this morning. What should I do? My neighbor seems to go out early and come back late, and usually I can't see him. I am a relatively light sleeper, and I also like quiet. If this continues, I will have a neurasthenia.
The dog owners on the 4th floor are not civilized in raising dogs, and dogs often urinate and defecate at the stairs on the 8th floor! Bad smell everywhere
Is there anyone in charge? The landlord has a bad attitude. Her attitude is extremely perfunctory.
The attitude of the staff is particularly bad.

The building manager does not care about tenants safety. Last month the key fobs to enter the exterior doors stopped working. Their solution during the day: keep the exterior doors unlocked. The bikeroom is only monitored with a camera so anyone could enter the building and access any floor. This is already a sketchy area. We brought this up to the front desk staff and filed a ticket. We got a response from the manager that contained a lot of legal speak. In short, she said security and safety is the responsibility of the tenant and not the manager.
There is also a broken camera near the rear entrance that apparently has been that way for a long time as per one of the leasing agents. We filed a ticket for this and got the same response from the manager.
Theres always dog poop laying around on the rooftop dog park. The bbqs have so much grease under the grill that its a fire hazard.
They dont care here. Avoid.

The noise was finally addressed. Not by the staff of course, but by the city. They gave the management worker/tenant a citation. He couldnt be bothered to train his dog, so I assume he gave it away. Two months later and he got a whole another dog, that also barks. I dont understand how this guy can still be employed in an apartment when hes clearly not someone who cares about respecting the policies and rules of the place he gets his paycheck from. Not only that, but it seems hes taken up the habit of facing the window and speaking directly out of it. It seems like he wishes his life emulated the Truman Show. Well, Im certainly forced to observe but Im definitely not entertained.
I wouldnt be so bothered if his commentary was amusing but, no. Its just him on Zoom dates talking about how rich his grandparents are and how they have BAJILLIONS of dollars, talking about how he doesnt need this job (at this apartment), and how much he totally absolutely 100% respects women. This would be hilarious if I still had a sense of humor. I find it less funny day by day. It was still somewhat funny but mostly unsettling when it was just him walking into the lobby bathroom and telling people their poop smelled good. Now its just a headache. A headache exacerbated by the blase attitude towards disruptive neighbors until it becomes legal, and compounded by the constant hallway smell of old bong water and B.O
All of that being said, I should clarify - the maintenance workers and the rotating workers at the front desk? Amazing people. Lovely. Nice. Never had an issue with any of them. Management? Well
But, hey, theres always a bright side. Like one management staff said in the mailroom within earshot of a crazy person, Im not the first crazy resident theyve dealt with, so they must be well-equipped. Although, I would prefer to be called depressed or mentally ill instead of crazy, since crazy is an outdated term that is widely considered to be akin to a slur.
But I dont want to be a Karen on top of being crazy, so your secret is safe with me!

A management worker who doubles as a tenant lives in a nearby unit here and unfortunately creates extreme amounts of animal noise. 2 dogs barking almost constantly, every day. First report made in April. It is now July and not much has changed. Three months of reporting, videos recording up to an hour+ of barking at a time with no pause, phone calls, asking in-person, asking nicely, asking not-so-nicely- have all had little to no effect. I have recorded videos of nonstop barking that were over 2 hours long. The only reason it wasn't longer was because I just wanted to use my phone again. The file size gets so big that it would take longer to upload than I'm even willing to deal with.
Owner of the dogs is very aware, I assume he just doesn't really care. Despite an extensive paper trail of absurd levels of animal noise and requests for it to stop, nothing has had any amount of permanence. There's a notice. It stops for about two days. And then it's back to business. .
Apartment was great before we got him in a unit near ours. It was quiet, had a tranquil porch, it's shaded too so it wasn't too hot. It was a great apartment to live in. You'll hear the occasional argument, or people being loud, or dogs, machinery, whatnot. But those noises aren't abnormal, and they're expected, so they're tolerable.
Honestly, the rest of the staff is really cool too from what I've experienced. The building is kept clean, it's got a great lobby, it seems really modern and upkept. I've been here for a while. Staff has been swapped out and so has management and the owners over the years so I'm not sure what hands it has passed through to get to this, but the current conditions regarding noise are abhorrent. No central cooling in this building, meaning you have to rely on a window- meaning, no effective way to filter the noise.
If you have illnesses, be it physical or mental, look elsewhere. This building is where mental health goes to di.
