While it would be convenient to lay the blame solely at the feet of management, it's evident that the root of these issues lies in the actions of certain residents. Adults engaging in such flagrant misconduct should be held accountable for their actions, rather than placing undue burden on management to micromanage their behavior.
In my final months(2024), there did seem to be a considerable effort by the new management to improve the safety and basic upkeep of the building but it still seemed to fall short in some areas that were just uncontrollable.
The disregard for cleanliness within the premises is appalling. It appears that some residents harbor no iota of respect for their surroundings, transforming communal areas into veritable dumping grounds for trash. The common areas and trash chute rooms resemble a landfill rather than a place one calls home.
Moreover, the lack of any discernible screening process for incoming residents is evident. It's baffling to witness individuals devoid of any sense of responsibility or consideration for their neighbors being welcomed without scrutiny. While I understand the necessity of legal boundaries in screening applicants, it's imperative that a semblance of quality control be implemented to deter the influx of individuals who contribute to the decline of basic living standards.
The blaring of fire alarms is a regular occurrence, courtesy of residents brazenly smoking within the building or not knowing how to cook, and would occur at all hours of the night. The disregard for basic safety measures is not only irresponsible but also endangers the lives of everyone residing here. Additionally, the negligence concerning pet ownership further exacerbates the deteriorating conditions. The lack of care and accountability regarding pets is emblematic of the pervasive laziness permeating throughout the complex.
The surrounding area leaves much to be desired in terms of safety and appeal. It's disconcerting to realize that even beyond the confines of our residence, the environment fails to provide a sense of security or comfort.
My time within this apartment complex has been marred by neglect, disorder, and a pervasive lack of consideration from certain residents. It's disheartening to witness the decay of a brand new building, and I implore both management and residents alike to strive for a more respectful and habitable living environment. I would give this building time to turn over before considering it a place to live.

In short the biggest issues are :
Crack heads, safety , fire alarm going off in the whole building at all hours of the day/night , & lack of better management.
This complex is run down by a thriving community of crack heads. Willow crossing doesnt care about your safety and refuse to do anything about the problem. You will find homeless people shooting up in the stairwell and in the surrounding areas of the building. You are not safe here, i myself have gotten a gun pulled on me outside the building.
Management: The most frustrating part is there is no manager most of the time. They will often post a note outside the door saying management is out for training for days at a time without any notice. They also have switched to an appointment only to speak to a manager. They have also cut down on office hours in the building due to not having a manager reliable enough to show up consistently to be full time
Maintenance issues: this apartment has a history of having non working elevators and will not fix the problem for days or even weeks at a time. Trash shoots are non functional half the time so the trash room will be full to the brim of trash.
Do yourself a favor and dont move here!!!

Just a few weeks ago, someone broke into my apartment and stole my flat screen TV, due to the fact that management left my unit UNLOCKED after doing an inspection. Mind you, I wasn't even home, or notified about anyone inspecting my unit. Please do yourself a favor, and listen to other reviewers. Management is basically non existent. You have to make an "appointment" to even speak with someone. They barely and I mean BARELY answer the phone, so don't even waste your time calling. I simply do not feel safe living here anymore and can't wait to move. Crack heads are still seen camping in stairwells and outside of the building. This is by far the worst place I have ever lived in. Don't let the pictures fool you!
Ive lived here for a year and I would not recommend moving here. Amenities are nice and the apartments are beautiful on the inside and spacious as well but the drug activity is just ridiculous! Hallways are nasty and trash can be seen everywhere. Stairwells and elevators smell like piss and vomit. Homeless people camp around the exterior of the building. I cant even count on both hands how many times Ive seen people use drugs in the building. People are constantly setting off the fire alarm all hours of the night and day. Were supposed to have security patrolling the building 24/7 but theyre only seen during the day. Police and firefighters are always here. My neighbors have a habit of placing their furniture right beside my door which is obviously a trip hazard. Ive asked management to place a camera above my unit simply because I do not feel safe and it ended up being stolen. This place is simply ghetto and had I known it was like this prior to moving in I wouldve looked elsewhere. This is a perfect place to stay if you want to live uncomfortably!
