I had a bad experience dealing with mold in my apartment. The first and second floors are like that, the apartment is already old and the only thing the office says is that it's our problem and that we caused damage to the property that I cleaned the windows and the glass door every 3 days, especially in winter that's a terrible

Zero visitor parking and street parking is very rare. Very greedy and inconsiderate of delivery drivers. Edit: they are not looking to improve their parking situation, I have called and spoken to management. They told me there are zero plans to allow visitor parking in the future.

I wanted to share my experience living at Brentwood Square for nearly ten years, and it's been a rollercoaster of highs and lows. In the beginning, the reasonable $1300 rent made it all bearable despite the quirks of the place. However, recent changes have made it difficult to look past the flaws. First off, the heating system had this persistent funky smell that just didn't sit right. To avoid it, I had to buy my own heaters. The appliances? Well, they were straight out of the '80s and decided to throw in the towel way too often. What really got to me, though, was the shift in how management treated long-timers like me. Suddenly, every conversation felt like a first date not exactly the cozy vibe you'd expect after a decade. The rent hike to $2000 just felt like a punch in the gut without any noticeable improvements. When I found a sweet house and asked if I could move out a month early, I was met with a robotic "a contract is a contract is a contract" response. It hurt, especially after all those years. And then there's the deposit saga at Brentwood Square. I maintained that carpet like it was a museum exhibit no shoes allowed, only two adults living there. But surprise, surprise, they claimed damage. When I asked for proof, I got a handwritten note that told me pretty much nothing after two weeks of waiting. I lost my deposit without any evidence of damage, leaving me frustrated and feeling cheated. Adding insult to injury, they're now throwing in extra charges for long-term tenants like me. It feels like a slap in the face after a decade of loyalty. Living at Brentwood Square has been like navigating a minefield from dealing with indifferent management to the constant threat of hidden fees. If you're thinking about moving in, I'd strongly suggest you think twice.
