Pros: cheap Cons: walls not sound proof, they charge you extra when moving out, packages get stolen

I'd implore potential renters to read the reviews that are not written by single-review spam bots to get a picture of what living at this facility is actually like. It's shambolic, dirty, noisy, misleading, and miserable. There's a reason that while rent at decent apartment complexes continue to skyrocket (similar monotonely-modern, "high-efficiency" studio mid 2010s builds within a 4-block radius are going for $1600-2000s) this place has a constant rotation of rooms sitting empty for months at a time when charging a fraction of the price. You get what you pay for and this place is not worth a penny of your money or a moment of your time.

Don't believe the review bots Vitality set up to lie to potential residents with - this place is DISGUSTING. Firstly, there is no on-site office or management. Erica ignores calls and emails and pretends issues simply don't exist from somewhere on the East coast. This is NOT a luxury facility. The walls, floors, and ceilings are so paper thin you are forced to hear every single footstep, ringing phone, cough, snore, and conversation your neighbors are having. Good luck to whoever ends up in 208, the resident upstairs is an absolute monster, stomping around, slamming things into your ceiling, and gleefully banging on various surfaces roughly 22 out of 24 hours a day. Although you are required to contractually agree to "quiet hours" when signing a lease, these rules mean absolutely nothing. The public spaces of the building are littered with signs from decent individuals who want some semblance of peace in the shoebox they're paying thousands of dollarsfor. Emails regarding violations are IGNORED and unanswered by staff, as are calls to 24/7 emergency line - so I guess don't have any emergencies while living here (emergencies include wanting to enter the building - the keypad only works intermittenly). Maintenance quests go unfinished and ignored. Erica and co are unable to answer very basic Q's about billing practices and utility metering. Fetid, brown, dangerously dirty water has been sitting in a broken washing machine for over a year now, causing the entire basement to reek, stemming from the room you are supposed to be cleaning your clothes?Washer and dryer eat quarters, so expect to pay about $6 a load. Broken appliances mean you're regularly fighting an entire building of people for 2-3 washers and dryers. No one cleans out the lint traps in the dryers so they're full of other people's filth and pet hair and will cause a fire sooner or later. You won't know until it's too late because dead fire alarm batteries in the hallways beep incessantly for months before they are replaced. Place is a revolving door - they're cutting rent every other month because they can't keep people in the building for more than a couple months at a time. Don't sign a lease longer than six months - you'll want to leave within a couple of weeks, but also rent on identical units will likely have been slashed in the building again within those months. On moveout, Erica will tell you to set up an elevator reservation to help you with the move, but in reality they lost the key to the elevator over a year ago - they're unable to fulfill the most basic promises. Packages go missing constantly because delivery drivers don't know the package room code (again, many signs around the building about this) so they leave boxes outside or directly inside the front door for the homeless people who live on the benches by the front door to steal.
