Police have been called to this area several times. Transients dumpster diving & sleeping. Above average theft. Owners, to save money, cut down most of the trees on the property.

The building is modest and rather dated. The rent was the most affordable and management seemed to address every concern without delay. I've lived here for 4 years now. Loved every year. Its close by to major buses, parks , malls, schools, Burke Gilman Bike Trail etc... Easy to get downtown or escape up North.

I lived here for four years. The place is managed by Cornell and Associates, heartless, uncaring, greedy management company. Ten percent rent increase every year. Way, way, way, way more than this place is worth. $1,400 for a basic 550-square feet apartment in which it is difficult to live. Very, very hot in the summer on the third floor; no air conditioning. Minol is added to the rent, so you have to pay for everyone else's water, sewer and garbage. A total ripoff. Very thin walls. You can hear your neighbor next door at normal volume. You can hear the person above you or below going to the bathroom. When they turn on the fan, it reverberates loudly like the generator on a ship. I could hear my neighbor below unloading his dishwasher at 2:00 a.m. as if the floor was made of paper. I could hear my next-door neighbor sweeping her kitchen floor. The guy below me walked like an elephant and I could hear every footstep. Impossible to live peacefully here, especially with RIPOFF rents by Cornell and associates, who carefully calculate the increase to 9.68% so they don't have to give sixty days notice, only thirty. Very unethical, uncaring, and also the owner lied about "they" being "somebody else", saying "they" get fired if they don't raise the rents. Avoid any property by Cornell and Associates. My rent went from $575 to $675 in only two years, and now--it's a $$$ thousand more than that for no security and no washer and dryer in the room. Easy outside access works two ways. It was reasonably cozy while I was there, but the apartment next door had six people staying there, driving up the water bill, doing their wash in the bathtub and keeping me up all night with their constant chatter. I was glad to leave.
