Summit Crest Apartments

This building is so sketchy, and so does it tenants. One of their tenants package got delivered to my building instead. Trying to be a good neighbor and I decided to drop their package off to their address for them. I stood outside this building for an hour buzzing ALL of the tenants, yet no one answered the buzzer once. A tenant saw me waiting in front door, he just quietly diverted to the alleyway door instead. Super weird vibe. I just assumed nobody lives here is real. Not to mention the mentally ill man who lives here that just comes out at night and yell the most racist/messed up things known to human kind at night, and that one tenant from this building who intentionally had her window opened while having sexual relation, blasting loud music at 3 am and moaning the loudest noise for the whole block to hear, at 3 am on a Tuesday night. So weird, just so so weird.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE. My boyfriend and I moved here from Texas this past May. It is now September and I have not had this many problems with communication with apartment employees and managers ever in my many years of living in an apartment. The maintenance takes at least 3 to 6 weeks to even come to your apartment and look at the issue that you have reported. They will try every which way to make you pay for what has been damaged. They will purposely try and question you and make you think that the damage was your fault. My shower-head ripped out of the wall due to the moisture in the air and poor quality of it being installed. I reported this, and took them three weeks to even come and JUST look at it. Now, I am having an issue with parking spaces. We pay an exceedingly amount of money to be able to park in the parking garages that are located in the back of the apartments. Since we have added the spots to our lease, we have not been able to park in one of the spots because the apartments refuse to confront the other resident that is continuously parking in our spot. And when we attempted to just park in another spot since we already pay them, we get threats of being towed because its not the assigned spot on our lease. Not once has the other resident got any threats. Instead of this being an easy fix for management team, specifically, the area manager, they refuse to call me and work this problem out. She continues to send me emails back-and-forth trying to get me to provide information that she should already have in her system to handle this situation. Bode, as a company has horrible communication to the point where they dont even have an office for us residents to physically go to with issues or even aa little as a phone number to call. When you call the number online no matter the time of day, it goes straight to voicemail and youll never hear back. When you ask them to please call you, again they will refuse. Now, onto the building itself. The building is infested with drain flies, roaches, and nats. No matter how much cleaning I do the smell of sewage never goes away due to a pipeline bust that the building experienced previously before my move-in. When it is warmer weather outside, the smell gets even more potent. There has only been a handful of times that I have seen a not confirmed maintenance person on site attempting to clean up the building itself. The complex refuses to do anything about these issues. I have even been warned by previous tenants that have moved out to be careful because all of these issues that I have been trying to get addressed since my move-in will be issued, and somehow will be flipped onto us as tenants and will have to pay extra fees at move-out. Apparently, the company already has had many legal filings against them. I have a documentation book of everything that has happened since my move-in date to avoid any fraudulent charges put against me in fear that this will happen to me. I could literally go on and on. 2,200 dollars a month are just being wasted living here. I beg of anyone looking into this apartment complex to not move in no matter how great it looks online/in person. I am only 5 months into my lease, lets hope it doesnt get any worse.
