    BE CAREFUL! I moved in back in September of 2023 and signed a lease for 6 months. I had a great time living here. I paid my rent on time, kept the studio clean, and never had a complaint against me. Problems arose once I moved out. NOCO management decided to keep $295 out of my original $500 deposit. I knowingly moved out with the full knowledge that I had left a scuff mark on the wall, and I had no way of fixing it. I thought to myself, 'Well, I can see them taking some money for repairs,' since the damage was small and insignificant. When I got the breakdown of charges in the mail, the charges were as follows: - $25 for paint - $270 for labor ($45/hr x 6 hrs) for a 5-inch scuff on the wall. 6hrs of labor for an adult to fix a scuff? I called management and asked them why so much was taken out of my deposit. They said, 'Typically when we paint one wall, we have to paint them all.' (All of the studio walls are white, no special colors are needed, and how could they paint the ENTIRE apartment with $25 worth of paint?) I told them there was no need to paint all the walls since they werent left dirty to begin with, and how would it take anyone 6hrs to paint the studio since its only 230 sq ft if in fact the entire apartment did need repainting. Mind you, there was a $0 cleaning fee whatsoever on my charges since none of the walls, appliances, bathrooms, or anything was left dirty. Meaning theres no reason to paint any of the other walls. I find concerns in their rational for them to have charged me so much. When you live in a big city $295 is a lot of money to not have. I could be taking a road-trip, hop on a ferry, go out with friends, or take road-trip in the PNW. This is extremely disappointing since I really left on a high note while living at NOCO in Columbia City. I was given another number to call but havent heard back whatsoever. I just dont think its fair that they tried to justify painting the studio on my dime. This post will be up until I get this resolved. Thank you.

    Greet experience. I love my loft. I was easy to get all the information for me to move in and payments. Quiet and clean is my life style. I wish I would of found out about Noco Flats long time ago. But I'm here now and I'm Greatfull. Thank you to the property manager not sure if I can say her name on this but she was 100% Professional and knowledgeable . I Thank You so much.
