Love the apartment- the move in process was simple and everyone has been very nice and accommodating! Neighborhood is also very safe.

As others have commented, this place is slowly going downhill. A lot of vandalism has been happening in recent months, to the point management even had to send several emails regarding this behavior from tenants and/or visitors. People partying at the rooftop and amenity areas for several hours, with alcohol, loud music, without allowing others to use them. If people are going to use these areas (with large groups) for longer than 4-6 hours, perhaps they should rent the facilities since they are basically taking over the entire floor. Lots of college kids lately, hence the 'vandalism'. This used to be a calm community. A++ views though.

I've lived here for approximately 2 years. The first year was pretty good, but in the past few months things have taken a turn for the worst. I've found marijuana pens on the rooftop, tissue papers and other garbage in the elevators, broken entrance doors, dirty stairways that smell like pee (and have stains), random sketchy people entering the apartment building and management does nothing about it. Windows haven't been washed for several months and the last time they washed them they did a poor job, when the sun hits directly on the window, it looks very dirty. Definitely not worth what I'm paying. It's too bad because the location is pretty good and the rooftop has a great view to the needle, but overall would not recommend nowadays.

If you're planning on renting an apartment on the west side (facing 9th ave), make sure to have ear plugs handy for the homeless screaming at 2 am. Aside from that, as others have mentioned, rents overpriced and overall quality has decreased after the change in management.

My partner, dog and I have lived at Orion for almost two years. We have even switched to a bigger unit down the hall. What makes this complex 5 stars is the team. The building is a typical fast build in Seattle but the team is not. Katie, Alec, Alfonso, Hiro and other support members are awesome! Katie and Alec make sure we are happy to live here and Alfonso and Hiro make sure we are proud to live here. The building common places are clean and kept. The only time Ive seen a mess is when a fellow resident cant be an adult and clean up after themselves lol. Management will go over and above for you. Our new unit doesnt have A/C so Katie figure out a ways to get us a window unit, so our dog can continue to be spoiled, which Alec and Hiro make sure of as well haha. Def recommend if you are looking for a place where peeps say hello in the elevators and the team knows you by your first name and not just a unit number.
