    One of the best apartment complexes I've ever lived in and this is my second year. Great value to space ratio for luxury apartments with nice amenities; units are large yet more affordable compared to those in Fremont/Wallingford, particularly if you take advantage of the leasing specials. Maintenance team is great (see other reviews) and the leasing team is responsive and always listening to feedback and implementing suggestions and community upgrades. Residents are nice and fairly respectful of quiet hours. Units themselves are well designed with lots of natural light and pretty big windows, and it's still pretty bright even if you're north facing since the adjacent building helps reflect light. Package service was recently updated to Luxer one lockers, which is fast and secure. My favorite thing about this place is the location: it's just outside central Ballard, so it's quiet and feels way safer compared to apartments near Ballard Safeway. And, it's right across from the flat Burke-Gilman Trail, which runs right along the bay for scenic views. Everything is within walking distance of a ton of restaurants and the farmers market, grocery stores, post office, Target... The only downside is that it's a 20m drive to UVillage or 15-17mins with traffic to Greenlake. A few small cons or quirks; - Odd building structure, e.g. eastside stairwell doesn't go all the way down to the parking garage. The building is very long and spans an entire block, so walking from one end of building to another just to use stairs to the parking lot is a lot. So you have to use the elevators to access the garage on the east side. - Parking garage spaces can be pretty small, so good luck if you have a giant car or truck. There's always enough garage spots for you to park though. - They have good co-working spaces, but no conference rooms for taking wfh calls if the case arises (obviously a nice to have) - No central ac in units. This building was built in 2014 and they have ac in the hallways and common areas, but not in individual units which is disappointing. They do offer a limited number of $50/mo standing window AC's to rent, but it can take a few weeks to order plexiglass and install. - Expensive renewal rates. My renewal was $150-200ish more, so I decided to transfer. But when I checked the rent for my old unit, it was back to the original rate. Slightly frustrating, and I couldn't negotiate my rate since rates are set by corporate.
