Carla at the front desk is NOTHING but rude. Everytime I have to deal with her I get treated disrespectfully. Prime example today I had an appointment at 10 am. S/S is who I have been going through. I got put into contact with a therapist at another location and expected to know which office this person would be out of. The became a problem because the therapist did not show up and no one notified me. I called in and she yelled at me for trying to inquire about my appointment and also yelled at me because she did not know who my appointment was with. THS your employees need to respect people and not be rude af!

There is a kind of lack of regard for the dignity of the guests. That being said, I appreciate that I can get methadone paid for by my peasant insurance, without too much run around. They aren't big on take home

Therapeutic Health Services is very unprofessional on another level. I had to wake up early, leave home and took transportations that took over an hour, walk a long distance to the location, and wait for 20 minutes past my appointment time, just for them to tell me Robert Miller (the potential therapist) was out sick. I received 3 different emails confirming and reminding me of my appointment and not one single call or email to tell me this appointment was canceled or needed to be rescheduled. I will not want to be going there in the future and I am warning you not to, either.

  • I wish I had done something about this earlier. I am sorry if anyone was hurt because of my inaction or silence. About 7 years ago I was a client here. I had a counselor, name of Josh or Jason, a tall white man with brown hair, facial hair, semitic nose. One day in his office he told me he wanted to help me, but he felt I didn't "appreciate" him. He told me he really needed me to show I "appreciated" him for him to help me. He was spreading his legs and gesturing as he said this. I don't remember leaving his office. I tried to file a complaint, but a friend of his who worked there, glasses female overweight white, said he wouldn't do that. That he was married had a kid and was her friend. I got switched counselors and so did my boyfriend. The referrals we were supposed to get for housing and resources magically disappeared. One day I went to get my child from the down stairs daycare and they "didn't know" where he was. It was only when I said I was calling the police that they "found" him with a counselor. They were questioning my kid. They tried to deny my take homes, despite over a decade of cleans (I transferred from another clinic). More stuff happened but this is enough writing already. Eventually I walked off my medication there, as I felt unsafe there and felt my child was unsafe. All because I tried to report sexual coercion. Listen, some of the counselors are cool. Some of the lab people who take your ua's are cool, same w the front desk and Dr Joy, if any of those still work there. But at the same time, none of the people I went to for help allowed me to report/listened to me about what happened. And many actively engaged in gatekeeping community referrals and implied I must have something wrong with me to even suggest a "good" person like my former counselor would do something like that. Please be careful here, people. They knowingly sheltered a predator.
