I agree with the 1- and 2-star reviews. I was assured that the home would be completed by late March. Made arrangements for a job transfer around that time. I ended up having to stay at a hotel for April and now May at about a $1000/week. I had visited the site to see if any progress was made and there were no work vehicles indicated no urgency. I also agree that the appliances the development sold or came with were sold to the homeowners with an upcharge. Some appliances were $600 over retail. I'm sure developers purchase at a wholesale price. Stay away from HHH Service: Home building

Overall my experience with HH Hunt was Fair. The project manager was completely detached during the process. Upon move in, my floors lifted continuously. When requesting a repair, the contractor only came out to fic the actual board. Unfortunately, this is not how floors are repaired. Instead of pulling up all the boards to access the damaged boards, the contractor put TAPE and GLUE down to resolve the issue. Of course the issue only got worse and was never resolved. Upon me reaching out to HH Hunt superiors, I was notified that there was nothing that could be done. The staff seemed extremely unmoved and unprofessional in responding to my requests. I ended up hiring my own contractor to install quality flooring as opposed to the "upgraded" floors that HH Hunt installed. Imagine my surprise when two weeks later my neighbor is getting his ENTIRE first floor replaced. Of course I was told this was a separate issue but after meeting many of my neighbors MOST of them have had their floors replaced professionally. My home was also installed with a PROPANE water heater and when I questioned this, I was told it was fine. Of course it was not, and HH Hunt came out to replace it with a Natural Gas Heater, but only after a plumber was called to verify their initial statement. The company has built quality products that I have seen; however, in this case everything felt rushed, unprofessional and disheartening. I cannot say that I would recommend them for future purchases UNLESS you stay on your project manager and do frequent check ins with the home, regardless of what kind of red tape they TRY to employ. The sales agent, Brian Hunt, at the model was AMAZING and he was their only saving grace with us moving forward. Had it not been for him, I probably would have purchased elsewhere. Overall the experience felt mostly about the money and the lack of accountability from superiors confirmed my feeling. Service: Home building
