I've had to sit on this for several days because I'm so overwhelmed with anger and dismay.  This past summer was my 1st time ever landscaping designing, manicuring and planting flowers and shrubbery (in the past we hired a company to do this type of work).  I was so excited about the project at our new rental home (Westmorland Square Falls Church/McLean) and my sweet hubby spent Fathers Day weekend doing all the dirty and heavy lifting for me.  We cleared the extra large front beds, reworked the soil replaced dead shrubbery and planted well over 150 Begonias in red and white bundle.  The yard was in desperate need of a complete overhaul.   Planting was not the only extent of the project, which ended up costing a few hundred dollars that I happily spent.  Remember this was my VERY FIRST time taking a hand at any type of serious landscaping project.  To our surprise our amateur attempt turned out pretty professional in appearance.  By early July the Begonias nearly tripled in size resembling small shrubs; we received so many complements from our neighbors - some very surprised that renters would put in so much effort.  I guess it's important to mention we are homeowners in Michigan and just happened to transplant to NOVA.Long story short, the flowers survived through torrential rains and winds all summer and fall.  Up until the other morning when Palmers showed up to do the community cleanup.  I can't even articulate the shock I was overcome with when my daughter sent me a video of Palmers staff stampeding my flowerbeds that flank the house on either side.  They DISTORTED every Begonia, which up until their reckless behavior stood tall, perfect and in FULL bloom! My heart is broken and to make matters worse my call to them was greeted with a condescending tone and a ludicrous offer to drop off four (4) trays of un-bloomed flowers?I WISH they would ATTEMPT to step ONE FOOT in my yard EVER again...

Just had long phone conversation with guy from this company.   He was very sympathetic with my anger due to their guy running lawn mower into my backyard and how that guy flipped the finger at me.  He promised to take care of it with his employee.  Company can't always regulate their employees' action, but at least they promised to talk to his employees about this problem.
