Club Wyndham La Cascada

This location was very nice and accessible to the riverwalk. The walk was not bad at all and very relaxing. Guest services at check in was really nice and helpful. I definitely didn't like nor appreciate the member service people constantly bothering me about a member update. NO means NO and they would not stop. Calling room phone, cell phone and even approaching as we walked through the lobby. Let me enjoy my vacation please.

25.00 parked your car what a joke Stayed here for a week came in to check in they told us the room wasn't ready on Sunday had to wait over 5 hours before the room was ready apparently they had some bachelor party up there and the people left it a giant mess positive and negative is that the pool is only a 4 ft deep in the middle and 2 ft deep on both sides which is nice for small children for adults is a bit shallow water wise the deck around the pool was in need of repair at the pool there was a gentleman who had consumed way too many Bud Lights went down and brought back another 6 pack probably should not have been in the hot tub several people had open containers in both the regular pool with children around and the hot tub definitely need more than one hot tub the surroundings were nice just an FYI for all travelers it's $22 a night to park valet if you do you can park on the street for free after 6 and $3 a day between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. they do offer a shuttle bus to take you downtown this location is located close to the Riverwalk the the staff was very knowledgeable and even showed us how to use the rental scooters located all throughout downtown this location also has board and card games available for use and a nice game room Unfortunately they only offer a limited number of DVDs and the rooms are not equipped with DVD players you have to sit through a sales pitch where they try to sell you a timeshare they have people all hours of the day and night going up the elevators to check out rooms and take tours to try to buy timeshares these people are not staying at the hotel so it's somewhat annoying to have all these visitors on a tour

Nearby activities: Hotel is located on the River Walk. There is a waterfall outside my window. Gorgeous area for walking, running, biking. There was also an activity of fixing s'mores for guests Sunday night in the courtyard.
