E D Huntington Orchids and Tropicals

First time visiting, amazing with the first step in the greenhouse. So many plants everywhere, on the floor and hanging from the ceiling. Orchids and so many of them. The smell of the orchids is so fragrant, did not spend a lot of time here but was amazing. Question? The big plants with all the roots hanging out...is this where you take a snip to transplant? Or do you have to purchase the entire plant? Amazing non the less.

I am so happy for coming across this greenhouse on my recent trip to San Antonio. This place is so unique, not like any other ordinary plant shop. Its like tropical rainforest atmosphere and Liz is like the most experienced guide you can ever find. I wowed all the way through my visit and come home with my wishlist #1, a fresh cutting of a gorgeous Mint Monstera, at a very reasonable price. I cant recommend it more and I will come back whenever I get a chance.

BEWARE if you have a service dog, her business is not safe, DO NOT BRING YOUR SERVICE DOG HERE. Her business says no pets and many do, but there was no indication that she had pets of her own inside, which were frankly untrained and extremely dog-agreesive dogs. Myself and dog were aggressively rushed and one of her dogs almost bit my service dog and myself in the process. If I had been paying even half a second less attention, my service dog or I would have been attacked and potentially seriously injured. This is just a warning to all service dog owners and has nothing to do with the quality of her greenhouse, which was quite nice as a horticulturist myself.
