I come here every other day and it's a quiet place. It is very often empty when I come here and it's a really nice place to get away from the day-to-day duties (and away from people lol).
Nevertheless, I would highly bet that this is a nice place for a family or friends gathering. It has two metal picnic tables, a barbecue stand, and a playground for the kiddos to play in. It's quite spacious and a lot of parking space if ever a lot of visitors would come here. If you're planning to picnic here, I would still make sure to bring disinfectant wipes for a peace of mind, and bring an extra table or two if there's more people coming.
