Motel 6 San Antonio, TX – I-35 North Corridor

The room door did not lock I didn't notice this until the last day I was there that the room door wouldn't lock it just closes and clicks but not did not lock. It was also missing a chair in the room and the mic there was no microwave.

I booked a room ( ON EXPEDIA) April 1st around 9pm. My living condition wasn't the greatest so I used what I had left for a room $65.28. After I paid for my room I went to go check in at the front desk. Apparently they don't take EXPEDIA, do to them not making money?! If that was the case why would the MOTEL 6 still pop up on EXPEDIA even then have the payment go through. I called Expedia thay night to see if I could get my money back and they couldn't so EXPEDIA called the MOTEL 6 and I was at the desk and they didn't answer the phone the 3 times they called. I spend a few hours trying to figure it out to get my money back and have a place to sleep for the night. Luckily a friend let me live with him so I can get back on my feet that night. The next day I called the motel 6 1-800 number and the location of the motel 6 (i 35 North Corridor) said I failed to check in and can't give me my money back. I SPENT 3 HOURS TRYING TO CHECK IN THAT NIGHT, THE NIGHT OF APRIL 1ST UNTIL 12 SOMETHING IN THE MORNING! So they stole my 65 dollars without trying to help me for the major inconvenience. How was I supposed to know about them not takinf EXPEDIA!?!? I used EXPEDIA at that location before too a month prior or just under that? I'm currently still fighting to get my money back after they said I failed to check in.. I have emails to prove everything as well....

ROACHES EVERYWHERE! Black mold and broken tiles in shower. Cable TV is non-existent. Owners are horrible people! Owner Mina, likes to intimidate and makes you feel very unwelcome. She told us we could not have guest in our room under any circumstances. I'm a nurse not a criminal. I should be able to have my family that I came to town to see come into my room that I paid for. No wifi in rooms caused us to stand outside to get reception. One night the next door neighbors were outside too. The male owner rudely accused us of "having a party" on the balcony. His approach was aggressive so we went inside and then watched him kick the neighbors out for no apparent reason. It was after midnight and they had just paid for a week. In the week we were there, we watched them kick out several people. Another guest told me that she tried to stay on the owner's good side because they habitually refuse to re-rent to people. Also, the male owner made it very known that there were cameras on us everywhere. Yet when our car was involved in a hit and run they couldn't see the car that hit it "because of the angles". My deposit was charged instead of refunded so it took over a week to get it back. We had no towels in our room and had to ask repeatedly for them. Trash outside doors would sit there all day. Our feet were black from walking on the filthy floors! Worst stay ever. Wouldn't stay there again even if I were desperate!
