Lissa was great to work with. She took the time to listen to all of our needs and what type of home we were looking for and what part of town. Once we found the home we wanted to purchase she was a master negotiator and was able to get the builder to include all of the major appliances which was a huge bonus! She even got the builder to cover 85% of the early termination fee we needed to pay in order to break the lease on the house we were renting!! Lissa is amazing!

By way of background, my wife and I are first-time home buyers. We had no idea about the process whatsoever when we first started looking at homes, or what to expect throughout the process. I also work in the service industry and am very aware that it is wildly important to ensure that: (1) your clients have the necessary information to make informed decisions (whether small or big, like purchasing a house); and (2) that their expectations are established appropriately and met. Lissa Navarro and her Team exceeded in both aspects. The amount of effort and time Lissa and her team put into walking us through the process is unbelievable. From the first day that we met at lunch, they spent their entire lunch meeting walking us through the big picture. From there on out, they were always available to provide us with the information that we needed (or didnt need but needed for the sake of our sanity) every decision that we made, small or big, mattered to them. Not only did we feel like we had all the information we needed to make those decisions, but we also felt like we were in good hands. Especially because, as a first-time buyer, we didnt know all the right questions we should be asking (or dos and donts, for example) and Lissa would proactively provide this information, which made us feel like we were walking through this process with eyes wide open. Obviously, making an informed decision is the most important part of buying a home. But personally, as being emotionally invested as well in buying a home, having someone who properly set, managed, and came through with expectations was such a lifesaver and made us feel so at ease throughout the entire process. And on a related note, as a first-time home buyer, we were not sure what to expect, whats good/bad, etc., and Lissa was always so candid and provided her own perspective of different aspects of each home that she thought would be relevant to our decision making based on what she had learned about us. We truly appreciated her input and relied on it heavily. This is an invaluable quality to have as a service provider and not everyone has it, but in my opinion, it is crucial to keep those around that do. Its easy to push paper and get the signatures, but Lissa really focused on making sure people are satisfied through the process and with the outcome. Again, for a first-time home buyer, this process is very stressful. Yes, there are a few things that people can do to make it easier. But as you can see, based on the above, Lissa Navarro and her team went above and beyond (as Im positive they do with all their clients) and truly made us feel like we had a confidant/partner throughout.
