    Scheduled a diagnostic service call for our Generac generator. Tech came out and said they would need to order parts to fix it. Called in after a month and couldn't get anyone to return my call regarding the problem. Called multiple times again over the next few months, and each time someone says they will get back to me and never does. I guess I wasted the money on the expensive diagnostic call, as they don't want to actually do the repair work.

    Generator Supercenter was referred to me by Generac for warranty work. I had my generator installed by someone else, everything was done properly but it wouldn't start. It had an over cranking error. Technician came out and solved the issue very quickly. There were two problems that were manufacturer issues. I got a notification my credit card was charged $275. I called and asked why? I was told there was a trip charge and a diagnostic charge...for something that came from Generac as an issue. I was never told I would be charged a trip charge or a diagnostic fee. I was told if it was something not covered under the manufacturer's warranty then I would be charged...and I understood that. They get one star for the $275 charge, not the technician's service and work. He was personable, professional and knowledgeable.

    OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FOLLOWUP On 30 August, I had the prearranged visit, at my home, of Sales Consultant, John Suchy. I had arranged thru COSTCO, a lead for a purchase of a power generator. I found Mr. Suchy, extremely knowledgeable in his trade. He listened to my requirements, & immediately set to work in checking online the square footage of my home, to recommend the generator w/enough capacity to provide power to my home when a power outage occurred. He identified the suitable generator & showed me a picture of it, capacity & other particulars, & started to work on the estimated cost of the equipment. He also pointed out the rebates that I would receive being a COSTCO member, etc. & outlined all these in the quote. Mr. Suchy gave me an overview of the company, & anticipated all the questions that I might have regarding the equipment, the permits necessary for the installation, the time frame of the process at each stage, & of course once the location of the equipment was identified, he got busy measuring, & taking pictures, while at the same time explaining all the steps in the process. Once he was satisfied that I had no more questions he provided a quote, which included the reduction from the rebates provided by Costco. I was most impressed by Mr. Suchys professionalism in representing Generator Supercenter, which did not end w/this visit. Mr. Suchy was available to assist me, at all hours, w/the process of obtaining approval from my HOAs Architectural Committee, & for that purpose, he requested that I send him a copy of the site survey of my property, & he did a fabulous job in marking on it where the installations (I had to order a window to replace existing one, to conform to code) would be, and added physical pictures, making the understanding by the HOA Architectural committee so transparent, that the approval came in a day. Mr. Suchy was instrumental in my obtaining such approval. Mr. Suchy also explained all about payment methods available to me. I commend Mr. Suchy & Generator Suoercenter for a most successful initial contact & follow up, which Im sure will continue during the approval process up to installation. This has been a great experience so far. Kudos to Mr. Suchy for making it so.
