As good as the meat is, it renders the tacos incredibly one-dimensional. The onions and parsley are sparse and lemon is a much worse fit than lime. Even getting extra to add it in, the meat is still overpowering, and I saw that as an avid Texan carnivore. Getting avocado is almost mandatory, but at a dollar per taco and with how little they give, it's rather insulting. I got maybe an eighth of a small/med avocado?

Excellent tacos. Highly recommend the shrimp one. Green salsa was phenomenal! The employees are great, too! Dietary restrictions: Keto and healthy options! Kid-friendliness: Outdoors and dog friendly!

Wonderful gem of a family owned local restaurant. The Mexican brisket taco was amazing and the black beans were unforgettable, full of flavor unlike anything I have eaten in the past. Accolades to Alex, our hostess, for her hospitality and recommendations. My husband and I can't wait to try their breakfast dishes.

Incredible breakfast tacos. Whatever they put in the bean and cheese was especially great

My wife and I spent a night in San Antonio celebrating our anniversary and came here for Saturday morning breakfast around 10am on the recommendation of a friend. Great little neighborhood tucked away between the Pearl district and River Walk. She started off with a double espresso from a little coffee place next door and then we ordered Chilaquiles and 2 breakfast tacos (asada, egg, & cheese and brisket, egg and cheese). The asada taco was amazing, and the eggs in both really stood out--not the typical dried out junk we almost always see. The verde sauce was wonderful, and there's a really, really hot sauce that lives up to its name, but is also packed with flavor and not just some ghost pepper gimmick. The chilaquiles also stood out and we'd both get those again with the refried black beans. Ambiance and Atmosphere were both pleasant and plenty of seating outside with dogs allowed to complete the vibe. Service was friendly and the bathroom around back was clean and in order. Lots of parking available on the street. If we lived in San Antonio, this would be our #1 place to get breakfast--and prices didn't break the bank either. 5 stars for sure!
