Benjie's Munch

I'm only giving Benjie's Munch 4 stars because of the price point. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was amazing for a burger joint. Just understand that, depending on what you order, it's almost $20 for a burger and fries. I ordered the Candied Jalapeo Bacon Cheese Burger. It was excellent and I'll continue the trend of recommending this burger. Despite the price point I do want to go back and try some of their other delicious looking items.

Had the opportunity to meet family and friends for dinner at The Munch! Have heard and seen so much about it, we were all super excited to check it out. We ordered appetizers and mains. Underground Fries 4/10 - these were on the secret menu and sounded fantastic. Sadly, they werent as good as hoped. This item was the only thing we tried that didnt meet expectations. The fries were overcooked, and the dish was packed in the bowl a little tight, which made it hard to get out. Chicken on a Stick 10/10 - holy crap! This was probably one of the best COS Ive ever had. The breading was on point and the chicken was cooked perfectly. This was a highlight of the menu for sure. Spinach Artichoke Dip 7/10 - the dip itself was flavorful and the texture was good too. The best part were the homemade chips! A little crunchy and oh so good. Candied Jalapeo Bacon Cheeseburger 9/10 - man, the 1/2 lb burgers dont disappoint, especially this one. The star of the show were the candied jalapeos for sure! The perfect amount of heat paired with an equal amount of sweetness. The bacon was thick and flavorful. The meat was 1/2 lb of awesomeness!! Definitely give this burger a try. Munch Burger 8/10 - avocado, bacon, cheese, arugulavery good burger!! Barbacoa Grilled Cheese 8/10 - very weird, but very good. Avocado, cilantro, onion and tasty Barbacoa made this Sammie something special! Service 9/10 - everyone in the joint made us feel welcome and were super helpful. Extremely accommodating as well, as they helped move chairs and stools to make room for our party. Atmosphere 8/10 - cool vibe and set up nicely. Overall 9/10 - you definitely should check this place out. Amazing burgers and other food items, stellar service!! Check them out!!

The burgers are flame grilled if you know your burgers you know that gives them the best potential. Sadly they've raised their prices by %50 in the last year so you can expect to pay $20 for their signature munch burger with fries and a drink. The bacon was bacon, no complaint, the patty was super tasty as was the sauce but overall the burgers flavor was covered up a little too much by the burnt parts for it to be worth a $20 dollar meal. The fries were trash, a dry unseasoned version of wingstop fries. All brown but too crispy. All in all this place has potential but it seems to not be fully realized. Perhaps lower the prices or work harder to make sure every ingredients can be tasted by not burning it. If you want a better burger for a better price go to picknickins
