Red Roof Inn San Antonio - Airport

I dont usually leave review but I felt it necessary because I almost didnt stay here due to all the negative reviews regarding bugs and cleanliness. When I got in from my flight at 9pm, the receptionist was friendly and attentive. I got a room for 2 nights and was pleasantly surprised at how clean the space was. The interior is dated but not dirty. I did not experience any bug issues(dead or alive) this is a most basic accommodation and that is exactly what I needed. Theres no fridge and only a small microwave in the lobby. Because my flight got in so late I decided to check out the room service option and it was some of the best food I had while in San Antonio. It is delivered through a third party but Red Roof made the process easy. I found this place to be the perfect accommodation for what I needed and I have no complaints about it.

Red Roof Inn is always my go-to hotel for traveling with a 4-legged family member. I chose this hotel to stay at while visiting my daughter, and I am happy that I made this choice! The hotel was very clean, both inside and outside. The stairwells, halls, my room and every outside area was spotless my entire weeks stay. The WiFi was flawless and clear throughout my stay, and the beds in my double bed room were very, very comfy! People that worked at the hotel (maids, front desk clerks and the outside maintenance guy) were very polite and friendly. It was also quiet and there were none of the big-city transients wandering around the exterior like other places that I have stayed. I traveled alone, and felt not only safe, but that I mattered and was part of a family. While it is true that there are no close (walking distance) restaurants nearby, Uber Eats delivered straight to my rooms door several times and my food was hot! I would most definitely stay here again, and recommend it to anyone who wants a nice, clean, quiet and friendly hotel! Rooms: Very clean, comfortable beds, maid service was excellent and kept my room stocked with clean towels and coffee pods. Nearby activities: Wal-Mart and a shopping mall is within 1.3 miles of the hotel. Walkability: Superior Wings restaurant is within two-three blocks walking distance.

The mattresses are quite uncomfortable, you feel like you're falling out of bed!
