Americas Best Value Inn San Antonio Windcrest

The room was poorly maintained -- broken and unrepaired furnishings, light fixture missing a bulb, the room smelled musty, and the shampoo was congealed. The accommodations fell short of my already modest expectations. The worst issue was the condition of the bedlinen. The fitted sheet had a cigarette burn, the top sheet had brown stains that looked like blood smears, and the comforter had black stains that I optimistically hoped was ink. The trains on the nearby tracks woke me a few times, but I felt that really was the mildest of the issues. At least the room was inexpensive.

Construction on the main access road is horrible closed to the public, you'll have to find a confusing back way and when I arrived there were 6 police cars there for a battery case.

The room is alright, has everything we needed but there's not a lot of space- it's kind of small. The lady checking us in had just a little bit of an attitude but she was helpful. I like that it's quiet here and there's not a lot going on. At other hotels in this area, the people in other rooms tend to be out and about and wanting to talk to you, but I like to be left alone so I like how not much goes on here. Oh and the bathroom is pretty gross, not gonna lie. And the towels are stained.

Dirty place. Owners will rent out there room to ANYONE AND I MEAN ANYONE. MOST CERTAINLY NOT KID-FRIENDLY.
