La Hacienda Inn Alamdome/Riverwalk

We arrived late at night or early am and customer service was excellent. Desk staff was charming. The room was clean and comfortable. Well done, Peter! Noteworthy details: Close to tourist sites and local businesses.

Warm welcome in a small hotel where customer satisfaction is a priority. The rooms are clean and cleaned every day. The location is close to the city center, a little less than 20 minutes on foot. Free parking is available. The absence of breakfast is relevant because we can choose breakfast by limiting sugar and adding fruit.

Wow!!! We are beyond happy that we didnt go by the reviews of this hotel. Our host was extremely friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the Riverwalk and places to dine.The hotel smells and looks REALLY nice, great pricing and well kept. Its true the hotel is in a sketchy place older houses (neighborhood) as it was stated in a previous review. but that also mean so is the Riverwalkijs. It took us about 18 minutes to walk from the hotel to The Riverwalk. We didnt notice the distance due to the nice weather and conversations. The parking area is small but there is parking across the street both are BRIGHTLY LITE. There arent any elevators (2 flights of stairs only). On our next visit to San Antonio we will stay here again!!! Very cool spot nestled into a pretty rough looking neighborhood. There were multiple transients hanging around but we didnt have any trouble. Room was clean and nice.
