Went and found this cool old clock on my lunch break. Operating through a system of weights, it is unique among post clocks in continuing to be hand-wound rather than electrified...Citizens and visitors used the clock as a meeting place and the site of impromptu New Years Eve celebrations. Its on the street corner out in the open and kind of easy to overlook, but if you stop and take a moment to check it out and read the plaque its a rather interesting historical treasure.
