WaterWalk San Antonio at The Rim

The area this place was in was amazing minus the construction. My only complaint would be that when you go with a family of four and it says two bedrooms I would think that there would at least be Queen beds or larger. We ended up having to buy two single blowup mattresses since the beds were only a full size. Overall, it was a nice place!

Zero stars. They towed my car. I had an emergency and my partner had to park as close to the door as possible for less than one hour and my car was towed. No warning, no nothing. We were first time guests on our first night. $350 down the drain. Also just FYI there is no trash in the restroom and no full length mirror.

This place left so much to be desired. Upon check in we were told we were on floor 4, and the elevator is broken. I asked to be moved to a lower floor and they switched us to floor 2. The elevator at this point had been broken at least 4 days per their email (ridiculous to be down multiple days.) We opened our room to find a gross giant dirty cleaning cart, dirty rags all over our kitchen. I called down to reception and they said theyd come get it, which they did, but we still had to clean and sanitize our room afterwards ourselves. Gross. Then we tried to set up the pull out couch only to realize, no, its not a pull out. Just a regular loveseat. We booked a room for 4 people this room has one queen bed. Please tell me how 4 people are supposed to fit in 1 queen bed? Absolutely insane. I went back to reception and was told there are no rooms with pull out couches and they were unsure how to accommodate us at this point, no extra rooms to switch us to, and no cots available. They found an extra twin mattress so we could put 1 of our children there but they said they only had 1 extra pillow. 4 people with a total of 3 pillows and 1 bed. We will never book here again. Please do better, when guests book for 4 occupants make sure you have accessibility to sleep them all as theyre paying guests. I shouldnt have to even say that out loud I feel. 2/10 stars, only for easy parking and a good location. Would never recommend WaterWalk!

I was honestly blindsided by the lack of cleanliness I witnessed upon entering my room. I spent over an hour picking hair off of the bedding, floors, shower, sinks and I am glad to always carry Lysol and sanitizer everywhere I go because I would not have been able to stay here without sanitizing the room. After a long drive, I did not expect this. I understand that an oversight may happen but any housekeeper who has two eyes would have seen all of the hair left behind and management needs to come behind and do walkthroughs after rooms are supposedly clean because this is not a good look, nor what any guest should have to deal with after spending so much money for a room. Floors were filthy and the elevators were down, which apparently is an ongoing issue. I see the potential WaterWalk has and hopefully no one else will experience what I did.
