My son is half white from his mom's side. He was constantly picked on. After complaining to teachers and administrators the bullying continued and nothing was done. He would constantly come home and tell me stories like how kids would call him dumb a$$ marshmallow. And after I found out his kindergarten teacher was herself abusing children i couldn't keep him there. We now moved to NISD and his school is better on every level. I get what they were trying to create there but it has seemed to fail at least one child.

My son attended this school for about 3 yrs.It was an AWESOME school all staff was always friendly and helpful.My son is Dyslexic,ADHD,BIPOLAR,AND ODD and he was handled very well by all his teachers and other staff especially in times of behavior issues..Now he is at Aspire.The teaching at Un Mundo is Wonderful and my son's grades went up when I transferred him out of public school system to charter school system...
