Rock Springs Duplexes

Moved here from San Antonio and lucked up on finding this place. Duplex is very clean. No noise from neighbors. Well maintained yard. New management is friendly and amazing. Would 100% recommend to anyone.

My kids live in the rock springs duplexes and I just want to say that their ac has frozen up the outside line had about 2 to 3 inches of ice and oh by the way its still not fixed just thought that I would share that with the group

Fresh Move-In Here- Hate that I even have to write this...I moved in less than 2 weeks ago and have had a HOST of issues.I was given a unit in a cul-de-sac, which is cool- little to no traffic. Cute little place...Prior to moving all my stuff in-- I did a walk through and took MULTIPLE pictures of the poor quality. Whoever did the move- out "clean" -- eeek, this should NOT be your day job, it was horrible but whatever. The upgrades werent really upgrades- all handles were loose- so had maintenance came over to tighten everything. Paint job looked like a blind person did it (no pun)Scary- the fire extinguisher was last checked in 2020- so an expired fire extinguisher and no sprinklers is very worrisome-- and to think the previous tenant never said anything, even worse.My front light by the garage and the one in backyard do not work. So, at night, its pretty dark out there.Now, on to the plumbing. After just 1 week, experienced a major stoppage and was unable to reach "emergency" maintenance - so thankfully, I work for a service company and was able to get one of my plumbers out to the location to clear it. Fast forward to the following Monday night. I was washing clothes then all of a sudden, water is backing up into both tubs, coming through the walls and floor. Called maintenance - sent an email- got a response at around 11pm. I advised a snake would NOT work, and a machine would be necessary. Maintenance came very next morning and attempted to snake the line--- ofcourse, it did not work. Now we have to wait for a company to come out and clear the main line clog. We cannot use ANY water in our duplex and its just been an absolute nightmare. I was told we could use a model home or gym bathroom (which is not an option- my mom is severely disabled).Office has been nice, Maintenance guy Eddy has been nice but I am just over-all frustrated at the experience just a mere 2 weeks in.I pray that this is not a revolving issue that happens during my duration here.The streets are narrow, cars parked on both sides in both directions and its HORRIBLE- So please be careful. Not to mention, people park right at the corners, blocking views so you cant even see when pulling out onto the street (this should NOT be allowed as it is REALLY dangerous).HVAC is old as dirt, had to purchase 3 portable coolers to keep home cool during summer. Lets see if we can limp the system along 1 more year...I am locked into a lease, and I hope to one day upgrade the rating to a higher rating. I gave 3 stars to be generous.Praying for better days.....UPDATE (7/7/23) - So far, since the last main line clog- we have been doing alright - Fire Extinguisher has been taken care of - Maya in the office has been really on top of everything, and I appreciate it very much.UPDATE (11/5/24) Here we are on our 3rd property management, and we are all hoping changes are made swiftly, but most of us know that the requests are probably mountains high. I am STILL having stoppage issues (Every 2-3weeks) due to a belly in the line that has never been fixed (even though I have provided pics)UPDATE (3/17/25) I can say that our latest property management company to take over has done MORE with trying to get things in order, than the previous 2 companies. Office staff is nice/friendly - which is a HUGE change from previous management. Still dealing with a few issues & awaiting solutions (IE: still have stoppage issues, not as frequent but still cant flush toilet paper down my toilets in fear of a clog). Overall, I am always a person of chance with proof, and so far so good. They're atleast TRYING to make right.This is my story.....
