Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Roadway Inn to anyone visiting the area. With its welcoming atmosphere, excellent service, and convenient location, it's the perfect choice. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, providing a cozy retreat after a long day of exploring the area.

It was an interesting stay to say the least. The INN is hard to find at night because they do not have an illuminated sign. The couple that checked us in were certainly new, and not well trained. They were nice but what should have been 5 minute event at most turned into 15 minutes. The room we had was confusing. Its clear they had tried to remodel as the bathtub, bathtub surround, toilet, sink, mirror, TV. bed, etc. were all new. The floor was new as well but poorly installed - many gaps that shouldn't be there. What was surprising to us is management put the time & money in to replace the furniture, bedding, and bathroom but left the walls looking horrible with the vinyl baseboards pulling apart from the walls in several places. For the walls there were gaps showing the drywall joints, texturing "repairs" as well they installed a new wall AC unit put didn't paint the trim. With that said, the room we had was clean but with a little more effort could have been a nice room as opposed to an acceptable room.

Very nice and newly renovated hotel. The rooms are clean and nice. Very quiet and peaceful. King size bed, LED TV with DirectTV service. I would definitely stay here again. Great value for the cleanliness, quality, and comfort. Rooms: King size bed, desk, microwave, and fridge. Only thing missing is a small rack to hang up clothes. Nearby activities: A few restaurants nearby and within walking distance of the downtown area and more quaint little shops and boutiques. Ice cream shop is really nice. Safety: Small town and was very peaceful and quiet. Train runs through, so you occasionally hear a faint train horn. Rooms are well insulated.
