I have never in my life heard of paying for a non-elective surgery before services are actually rendered. This place is an absolute joke. Its unfortunate that the doctor reaps the consequences of losing a patient due to this places absurd financial practices. My advice, go anywhere else.

Starting off with the good, the whole process from check in through my procedure was a good experience. The staff/doctors/nurses were all very kind before my surgery and were good about explaining what they were doing and what was going to happen. However, my discharge was a nightmare. I had barely woken up and really felt they just threw me out the door. My throat was sore from the breathing tube they used during my surgery and I was woozy, so I asked for a ginger ale. They said ok but continued getting me out of bed to the wheel chair to leave. After I moved to the wheelchair my pain skyrocketed. I told them I was really hurting, and again I was still very disoriented from the anesthesia. They literally gave me the pain medicine and ginger ale I asked for as they wheeled me out the door to my husbands car. My discharge papers contained nothing about the pain medication they gave me or how to manage my pain afterwards. It was my understanding that pain medication had been called into my pharmacy but it was not. My husband drove around for hours trying to find the pharmacy with my prescription and by this point it was after hours and I couldnt get a hold of anyone to tell me what I was supposed to take for my pain. Finally I got a hold of my doctor and had it sorted out, but I dont understand how a surgical center can send someone away like that without being sure they have a way to manage pain once they are home. It was truly an awful experience.

My baby had a procedure a bit of a hardtime getting in to park, registered 15 minutes later, parking validated four hours later couldn't get out had to call a phone number to get out, 2wks later received a bill for 40 plus dollars for leaving without paying the parking

My experience at Fannin Surgicare last week was excellent. Absolutely every staff member, nurse, and doctor were very kind, professional, and efficient. It was by far the best experience at a facility for an outpatient procedure I've ever had. I couldn't believe how quickly I was back at home! Thank you to Rosio, Stacey, Janet, Kay, L. Doll, Dr. Lin, Lyndsay, and Naeoma for the wonderful care.
