Had a major car accident at the drag strip at 140 mph hit a wall and broke everything on the left side of my body with dying on the operating table you put me in a coma for 2 weeks dating intensive care at UT downtown for two and a half months and now I'm back to working and being productive and just everything works so well with the doctor his nurses they were phenomenal save my life I'm very grateful to God to have people like that I'm 63 years old and never been a better state and I still have a wonderful quality of life where I could move for 7 months because everything was broke on the left side of my body but he took time and patience with me to give me why I was able to raise my daughter which was only 12 when that happened I can't thank him so much for having a life today a great quality of life

Dr Achor took excellent care of my husband whose leg had multiple fractures with compounding crushing injuries. 2 surgeries, months of physical therapy and my man walks independently without aids. Only small dependent swelling is the reminder about injuries. We are lucky that ambulance brought my husband to Memorial Hermann Trauma center in Houston downtown.

July of 2018, I was a passenger in a head on collision & was Life Flighted to Memorial Herman. I had a left broken forearm, a right dislocated & broken humorous, a left lower leg broken in 4 places including a crushed ankle & a right lower leg broken in which the bone was protruding through the skin. It was quite a traumatic experience but I couldn't have asked for a better team of doctors! Dr. Achor was absolutely amazing & so was every single one of the doctors on his team. I went through more than 20 surgeries during my recovery. Initially my arms were worked on by another doctor but when I was still having problems, Dr. Achor took over my arms as well, as he was initially just working on my legs. Once he fixed my arms, I no longer had problems. Dr. Achor is a perfectionist in the best way & he will make sure that everything is 100% to his standards. I couldn't walk or do anything on my own for many months but today, I am happy to report that I can walk again & I go to the gym daily to rebuild the muscle around all these rods & screws that I have in my body! I am so grateful to Dr. Achor & his entire team of doctors that helped me recover. Also, I have to add this in: when I was in the hospital after the accident, I woke up to have about 5 handsome doctors working all around me on my legs & my arms! They all looked like the could have been models! What a way to recover! This definitely put me in good spirits!
