Lots of confidence in Dr. Shawn Groth and the team. My neo esophagus is working fine and my digestive system has fully recovered. The scars are almost gone. Dr. Groth handled my brother and sisters very well. Dr. Groth answered my five page set of questions and just before the surgury also the question about the procedure specific to the lung being collapsed for access to remove the diseased section. My Pain level was only a 4 maximum, I walked 350 steps the first day. Today I return for the followup.

The whole team of thoracic surgeons are amazing and caring. Each individual doctor from team shows he/she puts the patient first. No rushing patient out of hospital as long as there's discomfort within patient. The team will make sure patient ready for heading home before discharging.

Dr. Ripley & team are just amazing. My husband was diagnosed with a rare lung cancer that no one in our local area seemed to know how to *safely* surgically manage. We learned more about his cancer in the first 15 minutes of our visit than anyone had bothered to explain to us in 5 months after diagnosis. Dr. Ripley has a bedside manner that all physicians should have. He approached my husband's case with professionalism, confidence, experience, and if he couldn't solve a problem, he made sure my husband had the best physicians that could. Dr. Ripley knew when to be aggressive enough to treat him, yet not too aggressive to hurt my husband unnecessarily. There are not enough THANK YOUs in the world for this clinic, and everyone involved in his care here. We are forever grateful and beyond impressed with our entire experience. -The Wright family
