        I was here for an outpatient surgery with her and ended up staying 2 days. Dr. Elliot is super sweet, empathetic, and so positive. She addressed all my needs, and worked hard even after discharge to ensure I had what I needed. She is an amazing person, and just her presence is comforting. She should spearhead the training on perfect bedside manner, as hers is the best I have ever had! Not once did she let me suffer or minimize what I was feeling. She did her best to keep me comfortable and moving forward. If you need any sort of bariatric procedure, I would highly recommend Dr. Elliott!

        Dr. Elliot is amazing, she was very thorough throughout my whole process. I had a lap band installed that had issues, she was the only doctor who could tell me what went wrong and why. The surgery was smooth, and she was with me throughout everything I went through, with advice and recommendations to help with recovery. I really appreciated all her help through this life changing event. I highly recommend anyone looking for a great doctor, that cares, to reach out to her. If I could leave 6 stars I would.

        Dr. Elliot is excellent. I had to have emergency surgery for removal of my gallbladder. I did not know her before my surgery. She has terrific bedside etiquette and is an exceptional surgeon. She made me feel so at ease and my surgery went well without any complications. Definitely recommend her for any general surgery. M. Allred, RN

Elliott is also an assistant professor of surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston.
