On August 23, 2023 my mother was placed into the hospital had to have open heart surgery Dr. Hertz perform the surgery I was very very pleased with him he did amazing job through God I would like to send a big thanks to him in his whole team at Memorial Hermann Hospital on Gessner thank you for everything you did for my mother I really appreciation you much

Dr.Hetz is a phenomenal doctor. He explained how he would be completing the surgery, in complete detail. The entire process was honestly smooth sailing. He made my mother feel comfortable, the staff was amazing too.

Dr. Robert Hetz performed a lobectomy on my left lung on Dec. 17, 2020. With his skilled hands he removed the upper lobe of my left lung where a carcinoma tumor was nesting. When I met him and saw his hands and his calm manner I felt assured that this was the doctor who would give me the best chances. Dr. Hetz is very calm, self confident and caring. His staff and team are also caring and very skilled. I believe he saved my life and also left my body with enough lung to continue to live normal. He did the surgery with only 3 small incisions and one tiny hole for a drainage tube. I am healing very well at home after only 1 month after surgery. I did not have to have any chemo, radiation or other treatments due to his perfected decisions to remove only what was absolutely necessary. I would highly recommend Dr. Hetz for any surgery he is trained for. I consider him the best! Sincerely, Barbara York
