My former athlete, always healthy husband recently began noticing some blood in his stool & started feeling a little dizzy, but with no other symptoms & no pain, we didnt think much of it. Cut to the bleeding progressively getting more voluminous & the bathroom episodes more frequent, I began getting concerned at his unwillingness to even make a doctors appointment. I finally got him to at least give our local PCP a call, during which he was instructed to immediately head to the ER. Tests revealed a seriously low blood count which prompted admission into the ICU & an endoscopy procedure intended to hopefully pinpoint & repair the source of the hemorrhaging. What they found was a large, veinous mass growing & bleeding inside a good portion of his stomach! Attempts to clip & cauterize werent successful in stopping the continuing blood loss, so arrangements were made to ambulance him to Methodist Hospital for treatment. Thats where he became the patient of an incredible team of specialists, headed up by Dr. Rosenberg whose expertise, professionalism, confident decision making & eventual successful removal of the malignant, 14.1 centimeter long tumor & affected portion of stomach most certainly saved hubbys life. There arent words adequate to describe the level of care we both received & how appreciative we are, except perhaps to quote Shakespeares, I can no other answer make, but thanks, & thanks, & ever thanks. During hubbys stay at Methodist we began teasingly referring to Dr. Rosenberg as Elvis, as he was seemingly never without an entourage. We think hes great! Though my husband, CFO & In House Counsel for a NASA Johnson Space Center contractor laughs when I now tell him Im no longer impressed by his position after meeting Dr. Rosenberg, with my husband's lack of an allegiant group following him around the office, hee hee Anyway, in addition to very likely ranking the most talented person in his field, its our understanding that Dr. Rosenberg is also a bit of a hunter, something he & my husband have in common. In fact, we own a nearly 200 acre ranch in West Texas & please know you have a standing invitation to utilize the property whenever, & for whatever, should you or yours ever so desire. Sincerely, Susan Medsger (Your patient: Walter Medsger)

Wonderful Doctor... he is a quite doctor, dont let that make you think hes not a good doctor. He is wonderful. He did a Hiatal Hernia Nissen Fundoplication for me 12/17/19. I can not say enough about him. I highly recommend him and his team.

Dr. Rosenberg is an excellent surgeon, and, as a surgeon myself, I have a good idea about these things. He removed my gall bladder in 2012, and I was foolin around in my garage the very next day and have done well since. He just did a hernia repair and again, I just sailed through the surgery. The staff forgot to mention that i was to have a pre-op medicated shower, but they did it at The Methodist Hospital so it was no big deal. But, its easier at home. Dr. Rosenberg is a very nice man and super experienced. HIghly recommended. steve meltzer, md

Dr Wade Rosenberg does not have the best bedside manner. Thats ok he gets to the point. His staff was wonderful! Dr. Rosenberg is obviously a very educated and an experienced surgeon who has a good reputation with his peers. I would not recommend him for parathyroid surgery only because it is a specialty surgery and requires surgeons who have extensive experience in this very difficult surgery. My surgery was very complicated and an outpatient surgery turned into a 5 day hospitalization. Dr. Rosenberg came to see me every day and kept me updated and medicated for pain. However my issue is not resolved and I am scheduled for an appointment with a MDA endocrinologist to manage my care and determine if addition surgery will be required.
