Why did you not take precautions and do things to prevent my father from standing up? Raise his legs higher or even lower the bed as low to the floor as possible. He fell while in your care so you responsible for the lack of training or not doing what is needed. 3 days later he died because of his fall in your facility.

My brother had limited choices of where he could go for rehab after being in the hospital for three months. He was on a feeding tube and in rough shape. We needed it to be in between Houston and Webster, and Park Manor South Belt seemed to be the best option of the three we looked at. I don't want to be negative about the CNAs or others actually taking care of the patients because it wasn't their fault that it was understaffed. I felt like they did the best that they could. The first week he was there , they hired a new case worker. She was helpful. I called down there during the day and the case worker who came on board did seem to be very responsive. But the nurses really didn't listen to him or to me. He had a UTI and it took them over a week to put him on antibiotics. We had told two nurses and other aids he was having issues, and they didn't do anything about it and/or the doctor they reported to didn't take care of it fast enough. I really was worried the whole time my brother was there. I didn't feel like the nurses I talked to really cared. Maybe it was the night nurses that were like that. I always felt like I was bothering them with my questions. (I worked during the day, and never got down there before 6:00.) He then became septic and ended up in the hospital emergency room. After that, he never went back. We found a better facility for him that he pays for. I felt like the place needed a big makeover. It felt dark and dirty in his room. The staff seemed unhappy and overworked. It was such a difficult time, and to have to worry about his care while he was there made it worse. Hopefully they will take more patients seriously when they tell them that they feel bad or have something wrong. My brother should have never ended up in the hospital with sepsis.

My family was given a choice from memorial Hermann and it included many park manor facilitiesand now I know why, Selena is awesome. She answered so many questions that we had. I hate that it was over an hour away from dads house, but we discharged yesterday and I couldnt be more happier with the progress and professionalism from this team.
