LOST MEMORIES. DO NOT HIRE!!! BBB Rating: DIf you are looking for a place where you want your sacred memories to die, then by God, you have found it. Let me be very clear. I work hard at not being a negative person, and doing my best to support small black-owned businesses. With that being said, let me start off with the positive parts of my experience. The young lady make up artist did a great job. I was initially skeptical about letting someone else do my make-up because I have had bad experiences in the past, but it turned out wonderful. Courtney (owner and photographer), had a nice studio with a good variety of wardrobe options to choose from. There were also a few props to utilize while taking your photos which was nice to have too. During the photoshoot on Nov. 4, 2021, we had a pleasurable experience. We were able to choose about 3 or 4 outfits to take photos in with various poses. After the shoot we were informed that in 2-3 weeks we could see our photos. This is where the pretense of Houston's #1 Luxury Portrait Studio begins to fade. This was my first pregnancy, and because I didn't have many pictures from it, my boyfriend lovingly gifted me this surprise photoshoot. It is June 16, 2022 and we still have not seen any photos physical or digital from this photoshoot. Every phone call that we have made to Courtney, she states she cannot log into one thing or another and she no longer has access to something different. She has told us on several occasions that she would do a zoom call with us and she refuses to give her availability or actually do the zoom call so we can see our photos. She has an excuse for every single time she neglects to do something and has told us it was our fault that we haven't received our pictures when she has never provided us with any access to them. We have called her more than six times regarding our photos which she continues to claim she has completed and prepared, but we have still never seen. Personally I think eight months is a long enough turn around time for photos to be edited and shared with the customers. Courtney has proven to be a habitual liar and a terrible business woman who I wouldn't recommend to take any photos. I will never be pregnant again with my first child so I will never have the opportunity to have a beautiful experience. Don't hire her, go elsewhere. Courtney is a very talented photographer, but her business processes are lacking. I paid $373 for hard copy prints on June 6th of 2021 and I have yet to receive them.  On July 19th of 2021, I texted her to tell her that I was moving and needed to give her a different address to receive my prints. She said she had the prints at the studio and did not want to mail them because they might get damaged. For several months I have been trying to arrange a time to pick up my photos. Most of my texts and calls go unanswered. On March 5th, I told her I was on the way to the studio. She called and told me that her daughter was in the hospital. That evening, she told me her daughter was getting out of the hospital and that if I gave her my address she would drop my pictures off. I have not heard from her since. I've called and texted numerous times. I've even offered to meet her at the studio during the week. At this point I would like a refund if I can't have the photos I paid for. The pictures looked so good I would like to set up another session but after this experience I can't.

Courtney made me feel so comfortable and beautiful when she did my maternity shoot. It was the best experience I have had. She took the best photos that I have ever seen of myself. She was very professional and inspiring at the same time. She constantly complimented me in every way she could! Thank you so much for the beautiful photos and experience!
