I called to cancel an appointment and a woman named Lulu answered and I told her that I wanted to cancel an appointment because they were going to charge me more than $350 dollars and she started asking me a lot of questions, I felt like she was asking me too many questions more than normal and he told me that if I didn't answer him he couldn't cancel the appointment that I needed to update all my information including the name of the pediatrician who cares for my son, to which I told him that I was no longer going to be his pediatrician because I changed insurance and They do not accept the insurance that I have and I did not have a pediatrician at the moment. In total it took more than 10 minutes and they could not cancel the appointment. They told me that they would transfer me to another person and they left me on the line waiting for a long time. I had better hang up on the call. After I called again, another lady answered, I told her I wanted to cancel an appointment, she just asked me the necessary questions and she canceled in less than two minutes. Because there are people like that.

This lack of warmth and understanding from the first point of contact can unfortunately leave a lasting negative impression, overshadowing the excellent care provided by the doctors. Additionally, its important for potential patients to be aware that Texas Children Pediatrics does not accept insurance plans purchased through the Marketplace. This limitation in insurance acceptance can pose a significant barrier for families seeking affordable healthcare options, further complicating access to the quality care the doctors offer. In conclusion, while the pediatric care from the doctors at Texas Children Pediatrics is of the highest quality, the clinics approach to customer service and insurance coverage presents considerable challenges.
