        Dr Citardi was an absolute horror to deal with. He totally dismissed my main concerns did unnecessary surgery on me that didnt address the issues I was having. Didnt administer antibiotics, after surgery in my head, after surgery developed an abscess in my head due to the lack of antibiotics and the hole that was in my ear that was later discovered to be a chlosteatoma by another doctor not in his practice. Had to be rushed back to his hospital only for his team to again dismiss my pains and concerns and sent me home wandering if this access was going to kill me. This man was dismissive from day one and because he had great reviews I didnt stand up for my self and went with his suggestions which turned out to be a very bad decision. I truly feel he wanted me to die.

        This man and his team are amazing. Him and his wonderful fellow, Dr. Xu, took amazing care of me and I am so happy to no longer be miserable. I am 24 hours post-op for chronic pansinusitis and am pain free on Tylenol.I already feel and can breathe better than my baseline.. Actually for the first time in probably a decade I feel good!

        Dr. Citardi is one of the best doctors ive ever worked with. I had a rare condition that a number of other doctors in NYC had no idea how to treat. He was friendly, professional, and communicated very clearly about my condition and his treatment plan. My breathing has improved dramatically since the procedure he performed.

        I hv am currently being treated by Dr C and he really cares he explains the process. I Have Empty Nose Syndrome ((not caused by him) and he is one of the few doctors that will treat it.

      Martin J. Citardi, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained rhinologist focused on disorders of the nose and sinuses. His special clinical interests include refractory sinusitis, revision sinus surgery, CSF (cerebrospinal fluid) rhinorrhea, computer-aided (image-guided) surgery, and minimally invasive anterior skull base surgery. Citardi, an internationally recognized rhinologist, serves as professor and chair of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology — Head and Neck Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. He is certified by the American Board of Otorhinolaryngology, and he’s a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Rhinologic Society. Citardi has over 75 publications and has edited a computer-aided otorhinolaryngology textbook. He has served as director and information technology officer for the American Rhinologic Society.
