She took a tumor out of my left eyelid and from underneath my right eye. Even though this wasnt my first surgery, I was extremely nervous because it was my first eye surgery. Her and her team listened to my fears and took wonderful care of me!

As a comprehensive ophthalmologist I refer patients to Dr Esmaeli when they have grave problems that could cause them to lose an eye or even their life. I am so very grateful that we have her expertise here in Texas.

She did a reconstructive surgery to fix my eyelid from her previous surgery, in which my eyelid was attached to my eye. This caused my eye to become very dry and irritated, and also made it impossible to see out of my peripheral. At the follow-up I told her I was miserable, and that this was affecting my quality of life. She then told me that she could do another reconstructive surgery, but she could not remove the eyelid from my eye. She would close about a third of my eye, so that the air wouldnt cause it to get irritated. Also she said that it would look like I was squinting out of just that eye. If I didnt do that, she said I would have to learn to live with it. Thats when I decided to get a second opinion. I found Dr. Longo, and he said he could fix it. It would take two surgeries, and my eye would be back to normal. He did as he said and restored my eye! Thank you Dr. Longo for fixing my eye. I can finally live free from misery!
