Operated on my moms eyes about 6 years ago. Botched operation my mom lost her vision in that eye. Dr. Queen was not experienced enough to handle complex glaucoma but proceeded to operate with little experience and did a terrible job. We regret ever letting her operate on her.

Dr. Queen is very professional. She is one that really doesn't mind explaining the facts. I highly recommend her to anyone that needs help with eye procedure.

We think the world of Dr Queen. She operated on our son who had a piece of wire stuck in his eye. Before surgery he could not see any light at all in the eye. Now after 3 surgeries he can see. Thanks to her and all the people behind the seen that worked so hard to get insurance approval!!!

Dr. Queen came highly recommended and I was hopeful, but a bit nervous. Simply because there are people who excell at their profession, but are horrible at human relationships. Because it involved my daughters eyesight, I definitely wanted the best doctor for her cataract surgery. Not only for the procedure, but for a good experience...that matters to me. She was definitely all we had hoped for and then some. Not only did she perform the cataract surgery with excellence, but she is kind & very attentive to our needs. We didn't feel like a number or a dollar sign as we have experienced in other places. Her genuine care & concern is so refreshing & grately appreciated. I would highly recommend her with no hesitation.

Dr. Queen is am amazing ophthalmologist. She assisted my husband with an eye issue and he is now 100%! He wasn't looking forward to having a procedure but her calming and professional manner put him at ease. She is definitely the first choice for our family for their eye care needs.

Dr. Joanna Queen grew up in The Woodlands and received her undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin. She then returned to the Houston area for medical school at The University of Texas Health Science Center, McGovern Medical School. After an internship at Houston Methodist Hospital she completed her ophthalmology residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center. Following residency, Dr. Queen completed an additional year of fellowship training in glaucoma at The University of MichiganTMs prestigious Kellogg Eye Center.
