Purnima Rao, MD, FACOG

I scheduled my wellwoman appointment with Dr. Punima Rao last year December and I put up with the waiting time of three months in hoping to get a good OBGYN doctor, so my appointment is scheduled on March 11, 2023. Today, March 7th, I got a text message told me my appointment has been cancelled and need to be reschedule. Her first available time is June of 2024. If you cannot promise an appointment that was made three months ago, why do you work??? Why do you let me wait for three months ?? I could have made this appointment with another doctor is you and your clinic let me know you cannot make it. And now, another three months? ARE YOU A DOCTOR? YOU SHOULD BE A LEISURE PLAYER INSTEAD! People, do not come see this doctor, you will wait until you die before she is available.

Dr. Rao is kind, professional & informed on up-to-date research. She did my surgery & is managing my pregnancy so far with me really well. I would highly recommend her as an OB-GYN.

One of the worst obgyn ever, definitely not one to listen to you. As a first time mom made me feel dumb with questions I asked. Didn't even want to sign my fmla Edit- I have sent a email to Kelsey when this happen and they never responded to me. So there "sorry" means nothing.

I have no words to describe how happy I am that we choose Dr. Rao. I am extremely grateful of her that she made time to do my C-section even though she was not originally scheduled to be the one to do it (it was thanksgiving too). I had such a peace of mind knowing it was her on the other side of the curtain. In regards to the surgery itself, I have a very clean incision and have been recovering better than I had expected. During my pregnancy, she was extremely helpful and honestly quite straightforward as to what I should do and the consequences if I dont . I really liked that about her. It may sound blunt but I loved her honesty. I also found her nurses super caring and helpful. (They are always matching scrubs, so cute). If anyone is looking for a no BS OBGYN, trust me, she is the way to go. Lol

Its been two years my baby girl was born.. still i remember Dr. Purnima which resembles the way she treated. Only one thing i can say, She is the best!
