Dr. Tawadrous is an amazing therapist and director. She helped me during an incredibly difficult time in my life. She taught me the foundations of therapy, how to identify and work through my feelings, and skills to better manage my life. I am so grateful to her and her team. To anyone who may be looking for a therapist/counselor, I highly recommend contacting The Krist Samaritan Counseling Center to see if they have a therapist who may be a good fit for you!

Absolutely do not recommend. I had to cancel my appt due to a death in the family and they coded it as a no show in the computer (even though I spoke to the dr myself) and attempted to charge my card for a no show fee. Thats fraudulent. Everyone needs to check their card statements because I know I wasnt the only one they attempted to con.

Paperwork for each member of the couple was required for counseling but apparently that fell through the cracks. Counselor Simpson is a divorced part timer that abuses cliches to cover up his intellectual and empathetical deficiencies. I would recommend going to a career professional counselor instead of a person that does counseling as a hobby and 3rd job to collect a check from healthcare providers.

I paid to listen to a counselor instead of him listening to me. I should have been paid. What a waste of time and money! I have not found good counseling or treatment anywhere in Houston.
