My wife was unable to make an appointment with any of the three gynecologists that were taking new patients. Their offices said we were rejected because our primary insurance is Medicare, although we have a good secondary insurance. Portal pages for each of three doctors say they take Medicare. It was an unnecesary fustrating experience. Hope the Portal gets updated soon to avoid further misleading to potential patients in the future.

I usually love my Doctor, and have a positive experience (or as positive as it can be at a OB/GYN.) Yesterday, my Doctor was not in the best mood, and subsequently, I didn’t remember all I needed to ask her at my six week post partum checkup. As someone who is struggling with the potentiality of post partum depression, this didn’t help. I am quite thankful I don’t have to return to my Doctor for quite some time.

*This is a review of Dr. Pham and Dr. Chiu's Office* I found this office earlier this year as my previous OB/GYN didn't take my new insurance. I wanted to talk about getting an IUD as I had been on the pill for years and was tired of having to keep up with it and didn't like the side effects anymore. He seemed apprehensive about getting me an IUD because I'm young and haven't had children before and recommended a different pill, which I tried for 3 months and then went back to assess how it was. I said I still would prefer to go with an IUD. They told me they would order the IUD and to call them on the first day of my next period to schedule the insertion. That was in July, they were supposedly ordering it. I missed my period in August because my body was wack from getting off the pill, then came September I get my period, call them, they say they don't have it yet and that they would give me a call once they do. A month goes by, I get my period in October, call them and they say they still don't have it and don't know when they will. They literally could not give me an answer if it would be a week/month/year as to when they would finally have an IUD for me. It wouldn't be that big of deal but I have crippling periods that cause me to miss school and work, and that have made me pass out. Anyways, they had July, August, September, and half of October to get a single IUD and still couldn't give me an answer as to when they would have one. I called another OB/GYN the same day I called this office in October and explained my scenario, they got me scheduled for a consultation within a week. Had my consultation on a Tuesday and while there they said they could do the insertion on that Friday. What took this office over 4 months to do, my new OB/GYN could do in a week.
