Avoid if you have BlueCross insurance. Their billing department is poorly run. They have continued to bill incorrectly and even after a three way call with BlueCross and their billing department where they were given the correct billing code they decided they had done it correctly. BlueCross has numerous complaints and is trying to work around their bad billing. Do yourself a favor and get a referral somewhere else. Its not worth the hassle and the threats that you owe them more money than you do because they dont have a competent billing department.

Receptionist at front desk today was extremely rude. She did not greet me with hello, rarely made eye contact and was very abrupt in answering my questions. Sad. Medical assistant was exceptional in taking my vitals and listening to my needs. Very professional and polished. Dr. Maged Anwer Amine spent about 6 quick minutes with me. Didn't take a whole lot of time to listen to my needs. Rarely made eye contact. He even took a lunch call from his wife or girlfriend ( I could hear a women's voice on the other end). when he was in the room with me. He told her he was on the way. He acted quick, fast and in a hurry. A sorry excuse for a physician. I saw him running out the door as I exited the building around noon. He was in a hurry and did not give a rat's behind about the care he provided. I would not recommend this rascal to anyone else.

I had a nuclear stress test last Friday and the employees were kind, explained what was being done, were very professional, and made me feel relaxed and I felt like I was in good hands. I highly recommend Houston Methodist DeBakey Cardiologists.
