Very poorly organized program, sadly. I went for treatment at a much more established residential program out of state, and when returning to TX, went to ERC in Houston as my IOP program. So many issues, including: neglectful processes (no monitoring of meal plan adherence, no monitoring of behaviors at meals or in group discussions, acceptance of disengaged behavior as the norm, no supervision of quality control, and much more). It was just a huge letdown, other than the few people that were somewhat kind and interested in helping others. I believe the management at the time was in transition, so that may have been part of the issue. This was in fall of 2018. I cannot believe the poor reviews of this branch and the Dallas branch. If you are seeking treatment, just know that there is help. Don't give up, and don't think you are doomed to be treated as another number. Keep up the good fight and do not give up. Treatment - excellent care - is out there, especially if you do your part to give it your very best. These problems are not easily solved, but you can make so much progress and get stronger from the moment you engage fully. Get mentally into your recovery so you can leave this $hit behind!

Natalie Permenter in admissions was not helpful at all. Whoever made the decision to determine if my child would get treatment here I hope they all are fired. This place is full of themselves just like the other 3. This is why mental health and eating disorder is the REAL PANDEMIC! Everyone passes you along to the next place! The system is flawed! I really think it comes down to insurance. They dont want someone who they cant get a penny out of. Ive already met my deductible so insurance will pay at 100%. The whole system is corrupt if you ask me. This is a problem! Mental Health is the real crisis. No wonder Suicide is the leading cause of death in the United States. Suicide is the second leading cause of death among people aged 15 to 24 in the United States. You NEED a to do better Natalie.
